The weather has been weird in Madrid, but that hasn't stopped me from wanted to buy everything I can get my hand on summer related. I leave you with some on my recent purchases perfect for the summer months to come...can't wait to enjoy them!

Mirror mirror: Another rainy day...

Like I've said many times in the last posts, this spring has been wierd, cold weather and rain non stop. When we think we might get some days of sun, its all just a tease and the rain comes. Just when I thought I could put my Hunters away... I've gotta take them back out. 

Como ya e dicho mil veces, esta primavera ha sido muy rara, días fríos y lloviosos. Cuando pensamos que vamos a tener unos días de sol, regresa la lluvia. Justo cuando pensé que podía retirar mis botas Hunter las tengo que volver a sacar.

Hefty prices, hefty solutions, hefty results

I have always suffered from really dry skin around my eye area, and dry skin on my face in general. This week I was in El Corte Ingles, a department store here is Madrid and stumbled upon the Bobbi Brown stand. I was actually looking for some foundation because the one I normally use was running out and had to make the investment. 

The sales clerk offered to try out the different colors on my face until we found the right one. After we settled on the perfect color she went the whole nine yards with applying toner, hydrating my face and applying this amazing eye cream, Bobbi Brown Extra Eye Repair cream. It has a rich, thick and creamy texture and she assured me that after three application the results would be noticable. I am usually very skeptical about these types of things but after using it day and night for about 5 days, I can see the difference. 

De toda la vida, la piel alderredor de mis ojos ha sufrido de resequedad. En general tengo la piel un poco reseca en la cara. Esta semana estuve en El Corte Ingles y quede buscando en la sección de Bobbi Brown base pasa la cara por que el mio se me estaba acabando. 

La chica ofreció probar diferentes colores hasta que escogimos el ideal para mi. Luego me dio todo el tratamiento de toner, crema hidratante y me aplico una crema de ojos increíble llama Bobbi Brown Extra Eye Repair Cream (una crema reparadora para los ojos). Es espesa y cremosa y me aseguro que después de tres aplicaciones se notaria la diferencia. Suelo ser un poco incrédula para este tipo de cosas pero después de usarla día y noche por 5 días, de verdad que si noto la mejora.  

No es una crema barata, pero los resultados que me ha dado son unos que no me ha dado ninguna crema de ojos jamas. Sin duda...Soy Fan!!

Searching for the perfect Iphone case...

I recently recieved as an early birthday gift the amazing: Iphone 5. I love it. And now I am on the search to find it the perfect "outfit" or knowing me outfits.

Weekend outfit

This weekend I went out to lunch at a Restaurant near my house called Con Amor and this is what I wore for the occasion.... For some off reason its chilly again in Madrid so I accompanied the outfit with a pair of black tights and my off white Louis Vuitton pashmina...

Este fin de semana me fui a almorzar a un restaurante al lado de mi casa llamo Con Amor, y esto es lo que me puse para la ocasión... Por alguna razón que nadie entiende esta haciendo frió de nuevo en Madrid, así que acompañe este conjunto con un par de medias negras y mi pashmina blanco hueso de Louis Vuitton...

I know what I want for my birthday...

Even though there is no way I can actually pay for them right now... A girl can wish right...? Let see if I can save up some dough and get my hands on the Tom Ford Nico sunglasses. I'm head over heels for these, the shape is beautiful and attention grabbing... but they aren’t exactly on the accessible side. 

I know I know, that’s already about 4 post dedicated to sunglasses, but what can I say… the summer comes and us girls want about 30 pairs to alternate for those sunny days… I promise this will be the last sunglass post. (For now, or until I get me some Nicos)

Out to lunch

I leave you with a simple outfit I wore over the weekend for lunch with A and his fam... Which was delish btw. I recommend it for any of you who lives in Madrid and or are visiting of any time soon to stop by and give it a try. It's called Restaurante Marisquería Rianxo.

Les dejo con un outfit sencillo que me puse este fin de semana para ir a almorzar. Tengo que decir que la comida estaba deliciosa! Lo recomiendo para aquellos que vivan en Madrid o los que esten de paso. Se llama Restaurante Marisquería Rianxo.

Sunglasses craze

For some reason I now want to buy every pair of sunglasses I see. I have always been a fan but when it comes down to it, I don’t actually own that many pairs. Like I mentioned in a previous post, I was on the hunt for a pair of Ray-Ban Erika sunglasses and went into every Sunglass Hut and Duty Free at the Miami International Airport and had pretty much given up until I went into Solstice and found them, I tried them on and it was love at first sight!! I bought them in the Tortoise color or as Ray-Ban calls them "Rubberized Havana". 

Now I'm on the search for the perfect pair of mirrored sunglasses, given that they are the trend of the summer yet again. This time I'm diving in head first. I have toyed with the idea of Ray-Bans and Carrera, but today I think I found the perfect Brand. I had actually never heard of them before even though they are quite well known: Knockarounds.
